The Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, a.k.a. Captain Blood in the underworld of cultists, is a veteran of many battles. While many youths have died in cult gang wars, thus bringing sorrow and tears to many families, the very author of campus cults, euphemistically and semantically called confraternities, has remained unscathed.
Out of the desire to be different and for quixotic chivalry, Soyinka , leading original seven at nthe university of Ibadan , Founded the Pyrates Confraternity , also known as National association of Seadogs , which was the precursor of campus cults in Nigeria.
There is probably no public figure that has enjoyed CONSCIENCE INTERNATIONAL‘S generosity of coverage as much as Soyinka, even if not as an endorsement of his stained integrity and Lifestyle. It is on record that CI has done no fewer than three previous covers on the personality of self-confessed bully. Although neither CI nor its publisher/editor-in-chief, High Chief Abiola Ogundokun, has any personal scores to settle with the Nobel Laureate who has brought much fame to Nigeria and, indeed Africa in the literary world, yet Soyinka does not hide his hatred for us, Peeved that conscience International unearthed his “Shady deals” at FRSC where he served as pioneer chairman, Soyinka did the proper thing by going to court, suing the magazine and its publisher for N500million. It was a case in Oputa panel, failing yet again. The scores stood at two goals to nil in our favour.
Professor Oluwole Soyinka has therefore resorted to what he knows best: writing. His earlier book, YOU MUST SET AT DAWN, published a few years ago, threw fiery darts at both the magazine and its publisher. He went a little further in his current book, INTERNATIONAL: BETWEEN DEFECTIVE MEMORY AND THE PUBLIC LIE (A PERSONAL ODYSSEY OF LIARS).
In Interventions, Soyinka has made lying a career in his war, yet living out the issues that have to do with his integrity unanswered. Our reports proves that the war which Wole Soyinka is fighting is not really against CONSCIENCE INTERNATIONAL and Ogundokun; it is indeed a war with his own conscience.
Thus, we present the full report in “ Wole Soyinka at war with his Conscience: The Age Long Posers He Won’t Address,” with an appendage , “ wole Soyinka’s Baby Turns vampire,” Of course , Chief Ogundokun does a personal reply,” Letter to Wole Soyinka,” which we headline “ Book of Lies”

The Executive Governor of Ekiti state, Dr. Ayo Fayose, is grossly misunderstood public figure. Largely regarded as being rash, the tall controversial governor grew up with the common man and has not jumped ship. Ever at home in the company of ordinary people, his policies are directed at his former constituency: the poor. “The caring heart behind governor Fayose’s bravado” is the revealing voyage on the true nature of the Ekiti state chief executive.
The presentation of staff of office and the official coronation of His Imperial Majesty, Arole Oduduwa, as the Ooni of ife on Monday 7th December 2015, was a larger-than-life event. Vice president Yemi Osinbajo, who represented president Muhammadu Buhari, members of the National Assembly, governors, members of the diplomatic corps, traditional rulers including the Sultan of Sokoto, as well as representatives of the organized private sector, among others, applauded as the executive governor of Osun state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, handed over the instruments of office to the new Millenium traditional ruler.
The event and, ipso facto, the report came on time to meet this edition.
