That Conscience International is truly international both in quality and strength of circulation is unassailable. Indeed, one eminent personality, an international figure himself, who attested to this is Professor Wole Soyinka. In an interview with The News magazine (published 26 October 1998), he said: “When we went to Edinburgh Commonwealth Summit, I had to refer to that journal (Conscience International) and there was an Indian journalist who said, ‘Oh yes, we’ve seen it, it’s in India.’ A glossy journal with my photo (Soyinka’s) on the cover.” The founding presiding pastor of Synagogue Centre for All Nations, Prophet Temitope Joshua, saw this early in the life of his ministry and he tapped into it. He partnered with us as a commercial proposition and we took him and his ministry round the continents. We can beat our chest that we are part of the success of this ministry, a truly international church – in Africa, Europe, North and South America and beyond. Prophet Joshua who, apart from paying for our editorial services, also used to buy 5,000 copies per edition, is a living witness. We are surprised, therefore, that Professor Soyinka who once said his son bought the magazine in London, has now turned round to say that Conscience International is a free journal.
